Teen Workshop Combines Juggling Skills & Fun
Looking for a new activity for your teen readers?
Juggling is co-ed, multi-cultural, cross-generational,
non-violent, non-polluting, non-fat, and just plain fun!
A juggling workshop with Tom Lilly first introduces your
guests to the basic juggling props in a fun, hands on fashion.
Then each participant grabs a set of juggling beanbags, and
the fun begins.
With references to Micky D’s arches and invisible buttons,
Tom has the group working on the three ball cascade in no time.
Tom uses skills gained from eighteen years as a high school teacher
to keep the group’s interest, sharing juggling stories and reminding the
group about the #1 rule of juggling: If you aren’t dropping, you aren’t learning!
Meanwhile video tapes let the partici pants view examples of
famous jugglers and see numerous props in action.
And the display board features photos and tips.
Toss in some club balancing and side-by-side juggling, and
you’ve got a fun afternoon
Sure, they’ll improve hand-to-eye co-ordination and learn the
benefits of patience, practice and perseverance, but Tom won’t tell
them.
And that’s not all because along with their juggling balls,
the participants take home a set of lecture notes to help continue their
development.
Juggling Workshops
Juggling Workshops are designed for Middle Schoolers and older up to fifteen
participants.
Tom will bring juggling balls and lecture notes for each
participant plus a display board, video tapes, and copies of Juggle
Magazine.
And part of the display will be juggling clubs, balls,
torches, rings, and even chickens!
You will need to provide a monitor and video tape player, a
conference table for the display materials, and the necessary space.
The workshop fee is $250 plus a per person fee to cover
juggling beanbags.
