Teen Workshop Combines Balloon Twisting & Fun

    What better way to spend a summer afternoon than learning a fun new skill?
    And Tom Lilly’s Balloon Twistin’ Workshop is just the ticket for your teen readers!
    Combining skills learned as a high school teacher for eighteen years
with a generous dose of humor, Tom arrives with dozens of balloons
inflated and ready to go.
    Hands on is the word, and your guests will be twistin’ up a storm in no time.
    Tom covers the basics from how to use a pump to tying off the balloon, not to mention burping and stretching!
    You want technique? Try the allowance move, the baby bye-bye, and the “peace, dude!”
    Suddenly there’s a hat! A hound dog!! A watchdog hat!!!
    Soon the floor is awash in colorful hats and creatures. And as the creations grow more elaborate, your readers quickly learn that they can do some pretty cool stuff!
    But it’s not over yet!
    The workshop includes a set of notes for each participant with all the material covered.
    And there’s a pump and some balloons to take home so that the fun can continue for family and friends!

Ballooning Workshops

    Ballooning Workshops are designed for Middle Schoolers and older up to fifteen participants.
    Tom will bring plenty of balloons, plus a pump and lecture notes for each participant along with a display board, video tapes, and copies of balloon sculpting books.
    Your guests will leave with the skills and supplies to continue twisting!
    You will need to provide a monitor and video tape player, a conference table for the display materials, and the necessary space.
    The workshop fee is $250 plus a per person fee to cover pumps and balloons.
