Surfin' Safari!

Tom and Beowulf hit the road running in ’08, racking up over 16K on the ol’ odometer!

The Books Are A Blast show was checked out at 32 libraries in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virgina, including the 9h straight year at the Greenwood Library Summer Reading Finale!

Speaking of hitting the books, the guys headed off to school: nursery at Clarlen and RUMS; elementary at West Chester, Manor Wood, and Cathedral; middle at General John Sticker and Gilman; and a field party at Towson University!

Extra-curricular?  How about the Math Magicians of Perry Hall Elementary and after-prom bashes for Eastern Technical, Montgomery Blair, and for Kent County High right on Betterton Beach?!

In their spare time, the guys attended Christening luncheons, First Communion celebrations, and a Bat Mitzvah party! Time flies when you’re makin’ magic!

Then Tom and Beowulf got to twist balloons for the Graul’s Markets’ Fight Cancer Day,  Relay for Life in Cockeysville, an adoption party in Hagerstown, and Laurel Shopping Center's Kids Safety Day.

Luckily the guys had the Korean Health Fair at Centennial High and and the Deep Run Elementary School Health Fair to keep them in shape for the Patterson Park Fishing Rodeo and golf at Sout River and Hunt Valley Golf Clubs.

They caught up with old friends at the Very Special Arts Day, Flower Valley Ice Cream Social, Ladew Topiary Gardens Kids' Day, and Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival.

And the boys made new ones at the South Riding Festival, Montgomery County Family Fun Day, Fiesta DC, and Mt. Pleasant Ice Rink.

So check your rearview mirror: that white van just might be the Magico!

Beowulf T. Wonderbunny’s

Travelling Show of  Mystery

Beowulf spent 2008 staying in shape and partying till the bunnies came home!

First Beowulf did polar bear patrol for the Washington Capitals at the MCI Center; seems there was a problem with seals…  Then it was batter-up at a Nationals Game and a chance to bulge out the old onion bag with the Washington Freedom!

After opening the skating season at the Mimi Dome in Patterson Park, Beowulf was back for the rink's 4oth Anniversary before taking the Zamboni for a spin at Mt. Pleasant.

He stopped by to coach the PeeWee Preakness jockeys up on Federal Hill and then was off to Fort McHenry to give that Phelps fella a few pointers!

The holidays?  Easter meant visits to the Bay Country Moose Lodge Easter Egg Hunt, Reston Town Center Bunny Breakfast, Druid Hill Park on a not eggsactly spring day, and Breakfast with the Head Bunny himself on the Avenue at White Marsh.

The 4th of July had the guys rocketing from a Federal Hill block party to Kent Island for the Queen Anne’s County Parks & Rec fireworks.

All Hallows Eve had  Beowulf helping Tom with Spooktaculars at Springfield Mall and Tyson's Corner Center.

And yes, that was Tom at the Columbus Day Parade in Baltimore.  Who knew he could walk and juggle at the same time?

December kicked off as the Monumental Occasion in Mount Vernon lit up the sky and then moved on to Breakfast with Santa at Red Brick Station, a holiday party at the Maryland Science Center, and a chance to ride in Santa's coach at Annapolis Harbor Center.

New Year's Eve?  Balloon twisting the night away to a Bollywood beat!

Hey: did we leave out the Kids’ Clubs that took Beo round the beltway to Towson Town Center, the Mall in Columbia, Owings Mills Mall, White Marsh Mall, and Eastpoint Mall?  Not to mention a hop over to the Capital Beltway for stops at Dulles Town Center and Springfield Mall!  Talk about shop till you drop!

And what about Rockville Town Square's awesome Family Series?  Mommy and Me plus ten weeks of  fantastic family fun on the square!

Oh, and the weirdest job of the year?  Had to be Tom dressed as Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer at a pajama party in Fair Oaks Mall at 7A!  Goin' down in history...

Now be sure to check out the upcoming dates listings, and catch ‘em if ya can!
